LOL...the libs just can't bring themselves to give cloroquine any credit. They'll warn you of the side effects of it but the side effect of not using it is death. And, to top it off, "I don't know if the drug worked or it was just time for my fever to break". She's not sure it worked but she's sure it made her "completely nauseous" and suffered from vertigo. Right, don't give credit that it broke your fever and maybe saved your life but damn it to hell for the nauseousness and the vertigo. o_O

These Hollywood and media asshats should sign a written pledge to not take Hydroxy if they get Covid if it's that dangerous.

More for me and other rational people.

I honestly believe that Trump would have done it sooner had it not been Dr. Fauci telling him two days earlier that everything was fine and no one needed to modify their behavior. The other issue is that I think the Trump was under tremendous pressure not to implement the China travel ban. In Trump fashion he broke to follow his own mind....then he caught hell from the liberals that he was xenophobic and a racist....liberals told everyone to go "hug a Chinese" and go to the Chinese New Year festivities....but then they revise history to claim that Trump didn't do enough sooner and I'm sure their liberal vomit didn't age too well...bet they want to re-do or destroy the tapes.
Thank God for video cameras. They can’t escape their actions. What transpired is out there for anyone with an objective mind to view.

She is an idiot. She doesn’t know the difference between Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine.

And neither will her liberal base. Because they won’t talk about it in the liberal press that she took Chloroquine not Hydroxychloroquine

Money can’t buy brains

Here's what bothering me at the moment...reports are that cattle and pig processing plants are closing due to significant Covid-19 illness of plant workers. This sends cattle and hog farmers reeling as there's no where to take the animals. There are vegetable fields rotting in Floridumb as crops are not being picked. There are States that are actually trying to implement a plan where retailers will only be able to sell "essential" items. Not on the essential list?...can't buy it. The retailers will be hurt even more. I picked up a new laptop today...if I were in one of those states I would not have been able to buy it and the retailer would just have to sit on it.

Indeed @Sybertiger

Major issues with the food supply chain, major pain. There will be so much suffering on all here.

Same day I read 2 articles from the NY Times - farmers having to destroy crops, and hungry people in the cities unable to get enough food.

Really scary to think of those who are now unable to afford food due to job loss and imho what I see have price increases and problems in the food supply chain.

Also saw reports in India that the farmers will be unable to harvest crops due to their lockdowns.

Looks like anyone who can should start a home garden to supplement their food supply right now.

No other person that ran in 2016, if they’d have been in Trumps position, regardless of political affiliation would have had the balls to buck political correctness and implement the China travel ban when he did.
Absolutely @Oceanslider

I concur that I doubt anyone who had a chance to be in that position would have had the balls do so.

Certainly not Clinton and Biden. Certainly not many in the congress and the senate. Too many of those are connected to businesses making money with having open trade / travel with China.

2 million, here we come. Did the USA break a Covid-19 death record today?
..
Unfortunately yes - and remember all of those numbers are "official" and thus under reported.

Even in the USA it will take a few days for the numbers from today to get added in.
( turns out to be some lag time from all local mortuaries to get their numbers in )

And then charge him with the crimes he committed. He lied, causing deaths. I'm not a lawyer so I'm not sure what it would be. Reckless homicide?
Any real WORLD Health Organization would have demanded that they send in their own team(s) to assess. Even Trump asked CCP if we could send in a team, separate of WHO, to assess, and were denied.

I have taken both Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine for over 15 months of my life for malarial prevention. I take it for surf trips I have taken to remote locations in Indonesia.

It does at times make me feel “spaced out”, never nauseous. I would start taking it one to two weeks before a two month trip and continue for a week or two after.

But I can’t help but feel she said that so that she would be admired at her next liberal cocktail party.

Just came from the doctor's office, driving by, I noticed a long line traversing around the perimeter of a Trader Joe's parking lot. Absolutely appalled. Are American consumers that brainwashed? I can understand why there are lines outside of the store (thanks to social distancing), but a line that is almost a quarter mile long?! WTF?! What is at Trader Joe's that you can't find at other local grocery stores? This really feels like a publicity stunt or propaganda only fueling the fear among the American population. Other food markets around are still well-stocked (and stocking far better and fresher produce by the way) and are not too crowded. Why does it seem like everybody has to go to the grocery store in the afternoon? Are people simply lazy or are they having fun all night long? Can't they go during different times of the day? Are they overly worried of a zombie apocalypse? This is absolutely immature. There is way too much idiocy around us. Why can't stores simply incorporate a sign-up sheet? And if you miss your time slot its because you snooze, you loose. The government and WHO got us all good. Now they know that it is possible to control the destiny of the human population

Your pictures here brought this song to mind...
This is not America
Shala la la la
A little piece of you
The little peace in me
Will die
For this is not America
Blossom fails to bloom this season
Promise not to stare
Too long
For this is not a miracle
There was a time
A storm that blew so pure
For this could be the biggest sky
And I could have the faintest idea
For this is not America
This is not America
This is not
Snowman melting from the inside
Falcon spirals
To the ground
So bloody red tomorrows clouds
A little piece of you
The little piece in me
Will die
For this is not America
There was a time
A wind that blew so young
For this could be the biggest sky
And I could have the faintest idea
For this is not America
This is not America
This is not
This is not America
This is not
This is not America
This is not

THIS is a great example of why I firmly believe NO(*) other politician would resist the CCP's instance to keep the flow of the virus into the USA:

( * - ok, so some politicians would, but none of the ones I see which have a chance for higher office - aka into the white house )

This shows just how beholden our politicians are to the CCPs financial interests, i.e. CCP PRC China "soft power".

Bloomberg, NDA, killing stories on CCP China info.

"..
Six years ago, Bloomberg News killed an investigation into the wealth of Communist Party elites in China, fearful of repercussions by the Chinese government. The company successfully silenced the reporters involved. And it sought to keep the spouse of one of the reporters quiet, too.
..
the reporting team pursued the next chapter, focusing on Chinese leaders' ties to the country's richest man, Wang Jianlin. Among those in the reporters' sights: the family of new Chinese President Xi Jinping. The story gained steam throughout 2013. ..
..
That story never ran.
..
"It is for sure going to, you know, invite the Communist Party to, you know, completely shut us down and kick us out of the country," Winkler said. "So, I just don't see that as a story that is justified."

He expressed great apprehension because of the potential consequences of publishing another investigation. In this case, it was one that would itemize the links between top Chinese Communist Party leaders and the country's wealthiest man.
..
Winkler returned to those fears repeatedly. "The inference is going to be interpreted by the government there as we are judging them," Winkler said. "And they will probably kick us out of the country. They'll probably shut us down, is my guess."
..
"It has to be done with a strategic framework and a tactical method that is ... smart enough to allow us to continue and not run afoul of the Nazis who are in front of us and behind us everywhere," Winkler said, according to the audio reviewed by NPR and verified by others. "And that's who they are. And we should have no illusions about it."
..
They also show how much newsroom leaders were worried about losing lucrative business in China.
..
After the first investigative project ran in 2012, the Chinese authorities had searched Bloomberg's news bureaus, delayed visas for reporters and ordered state-owned companies not to sign new leases for Bloomberg's primary product: its terminals.
..
The terminals are the lucrative basis of Mike Bloomberg's personal fortune — recently estimated at more than $50 billion, making him one of the richest people in the world. Subscribers pay $20,000 annually for each terminal, which provides specialized financial data and analysis.

..
( Bloomberg attempted to get the wife of a reporter to sign an NDA on this... she resisted and fought back hiring a couple of lawyers... )
"

Reports that your tax dollars are buying Junk Bonds...

Bloomberg opinion section:
Fed’s High-Yield ETF Buying Defies Explanation
It’s hard to come up with any fundamental reason for the central bank’s latest intervention.

By Brian Chappatta
April 14, 2020, 5:00 AM EDT

"..None of Clarida’s comments directly justify the Fed buying high-yield ETFs. For one, the largest such fund, BlackRock Inc.’s $15.8 billion iShares iBoxx High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (ticker: HYG), had roughly one-third of its assets invested in single-B rated debt and 11.3% in securities rated triple-C or double-C as of April 9. Those hardly qualify as crucial American firms. (As a reminder, BlackRock will manage assets for both of the Fed’s corporate credit facilities.) .. "

Did you get that story from this reporter?

Second phase of Vaccine trial already underway?

Its been a little over three months now, that seems right, right?
Insitute of Biotechnology, Academy of Military Medical Sciences, PLA of China

This better not be propaganda.

Coincidence?
Don't you just love it when human imagination can be used for both constructive and destructive purposes?

Of course not. But it another example that our president is a fuQing asshole.
I bet you still believe that he actually colluded with the Russians. You are still waiting for the secret damning evidence that Adam Schiff promised daily, on the steps of the Capital, for the first 3 years of Trumps Presidency.

FuQ you for assuming that you know what I believe without asking me what I believe @Oceanslider. If you had the intelligence to ask me instead what my opinion might be, instead of assuming what it was, I'd tell you that -- no -- I don't believe that the President colluded with the Russians. And if you were to ask me as to my opinion of Adam Schiff I'd tell you that I believe that Schiff is an asshole...just like Trump...and apparently just like you. It's fairly clear that in your special world you only tolerate opinions that mirror your opinions; that's what we call a Snowflake who needs a safe space where the only opinions they hear are their own.
