Couldn't find an answer, but can the pigtail fit inside the arm when hooked up? I'd prefer to drill a cat6 size hole for the wire instead of the usual 1 inch hole through the wall.

My gen 1 has the alarm and audio connectors, and I just couldn't see any way. Have you been able to stuff those additional connectors into the arm?

Ah, mine is without alarm/audio that's why I could

I had to get a box to mount this injector which could only fit diagonally

BTW, loving v2 even more. Yes, there are bugs in the firmware, but improved design and better IQ make up for it.

Just got my camera delivered. I'll post some pictures later.

I can get to it on the network and change settings logged in via IE and verified I am getting a picture ---
Did you try it on Safari, or Firefox on OS X? Any response from the camera?

The camera's working, but I am still having some Windows/IE hassles.

My LTS NVR has PTZ support and it seems to support this camera fine, though I have not yet tried patrols and presets. Through the NVR console or web UI, I can operate the camera as needed. In order to set that up, I had to set the camera's IP manually to the IP address that the NVR showed in its camera list. I also changed the camera's admin login to the Hik/LTS default admin/12345. Protocol was left on LTS.

If I connect to the camera's web server directly I can log in and change settings, but the camera video is just a black box--so, there is still some kind of IE issue. I can work around that by changing image settings in the camera while having the NVR video stream open in another window.

Desperately need to know if 2nd Gen does LPR Car Number Plate recognition.

Can anyone confirm?

The camera doesn't do recognition itself, but it can take pictures/video for other software to analyze.

I bought one of these at the special introductory price Klaspica found and plastic dipped it black and got it installed with no trouble. At some point last night the camera dropped coms and I tried to reach it by navigating to the web page but kept getting network anomaly. Thinking some drastic happened I downloaded the reset tool for v1 to try to reset the camera. I was unsuccessful in getting the reset tool to work but was able to change the network settings back to within the subnet using sadp. Still unsure why the camera lost coms and the ip changed it came back online. I have the latest firmware if anyone is wondering.

Where did you get the reset tool? Turns out I need that for my v1... I managed to break the admin account!

Is anyone else experiencing lag with this camera.

Regardless of what settings I use, I get severe lag on this camera, that makes the PTZ unusable ( it moves past where you want it to, by the time you realise )

The camera is connected directly to the same NVR as all my other cameras which are working perfectly.

I've had that a couple of times with these cameras, and each time it was fixed by replacing older, cheaper cat5e with better solid copper cable, and making sure they had their full power requirement from the switch/injector.
