Hi
I have two homes. The first home (A) I have BI + 4 Hickvisions in same LAN. The BI "server" is connected to internet for remote connections (DDNS) with my iPhone.
The internet connection is with a normal mobile Huawei router with public dynamic IP.
The second home (B) I have the same kind...
Check a couple DahuaPTZ specs SD49425XB-HNR and SD4A425DB-HNY , both have the same Environment rating:
Environment

So this huge storm hit last night. -4 degrees and with wind chill -25.
I have 2 cameras. Loryta SD49225XA-HNR and SD49425XB-HNR. The 4 meg one started to make a whining noise and would not rotate. I decided to unplug them all.
Kind of sounded like the motor was trying to turn the camera but...
The DahuaPTZ´s offer a maximum focal length of 300mm. If you really need more zoom, you could use the Fujifilm SX 800 with up to 800mm focal length and a 1/1.8 - 2mp Sensor. Long Range Surveillance Camera SX Series | Fujifilm [United States]
For PTZ Capabilities, you should use an external...
The red arrow is pointing at my own SD1A404XB! Great little camera. I have a post about it's face detection capabilities. Quite impressive and a much more subtle form factor than the "death star" PTZ cameras. Even I look directly at it, I have a hard time figuring out which way it's...
I'm using a similar camera covering the back garden, it's a DH-SD1A404XB-GNR, and like you I might explore having it configured as a spotter camera. It runs firmware 2.812.0000032.1.R, Build Date: 2022-06-24 and the settings for illuminator are the options, Manual, ZoomPrio, SmartIR and Off. As...
We are looking into maybe getting a PTZ with auto tracking feature and good night vision. What are the latest PTZ model to look into?
We use Dahua DVR 52XX and do anyone know if that have a spot camera feature where if other camera spot motion then it will force PTZ to turn into that direction...
Hello Everyone,
I have been having this issue for some time now. Ever since I upgraded the Dahua firmware on my two PTZ cameras I have been unable to remote control PTZ via Blue Iris. I have tried all Dahua and Amcrest PTZ connection types within BI and still have had no success. I read on this...
Wasnt sure where to post this. I have a combination of Dahua, Amcrest and 1 Reolink PTZ cameras. Im running Blue Iris 5. This is for Outdoors.
Im looking for a suggestion under $500 for a PTZ camera that does well with animal tracking and works well with BI5.
Required:
PTZ that will track...

Hey guys,
I hope you are all doing well.
My first post here. Please be gentle. :)
I am looking at buying the Dahua TiOC 2.0 PTZ camera, mainly for Active Deterrence and SMD.
I am located in Melbourne, Australia. I usually buy my security products from Security Wholesalers...
Would you care to speculate on what camera he might be using that was able detect the aircraft with the green bounding boxes? I need to use Dahua cameras for my software tracker. I do have Blue Iris also. I was looking at the Dahua SD5A425XA-HNR but I could not find any videos of it detecting...
I experiment around with tracking airplanes ,satellites, and UFO's (not to many ufo's) using Dahuaptz cameras. It is an interesting hobby. There is this fellow on YouTube who has a very neat tracking system at las Vegas International Airport. He is very secretive about his system but I...
I have 8 cameras installed and 4 of them are PTZ cruisers ( the imou ones ).
The problem is I am unable to move the cameras UP and DOWN neither from the NVR, SmartPSS, or the DMSS app. Just the up and down dont work they do move left and right without issue.
The only way I am able to move the...
Here in the UK there was a 1 hour change overnight, this morning all my 4 Hikvision and 4 Dahua cameras were showing the correct time, in the UK that meant going from BST to GMT. (BST British Summer Time to GMT Greenwich Mean Time)
It's now dark outside and what I've just noticed was that my...
Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Some of my IVS rules are directional. My one PTZ is facing down the street and I only want it to track people coming towards my house, not away from my house so I have directional on that one and others are to catch anytime someone is in or crosses...
Yes, you can trigger whatever cam from whatever other cam.
I wouldn't really call it "tracking" but you can have the PTZ move to different presets when triggered from another cam.
Thank you @tigerwillow1 for this entire thread. So if I'm understanding correctly, the best workaround for reliable onvif alerts (IVS triggers? Not entirely sure what I'm talking about lol) for animals from Dahua cameras is to pick up 1-2 older T5442TM-AS cameras and flash an older firmware on...
My DahuaPTZ is quiet and in the middle of the night I can hear it if I am in that room.
My Sunba on the other hand can be heard in any room upstairs day or night lol.
So I kind of jumped into the whole mesh scene last year. Since I already had an Asus router, so I decided to expand using that.
Asus RT-AC88U main router and added 4 RT-AX82U as client mesh. Setup mesh so the wireless cameras were close to a client mesh router or I could plugin cameras as...
Well we all know the manuals could use some work and it would be nice if the Life Statistics included the cycle count and limit, but the manual does mention lifespan:
I don't think that is the case. I believe a cycle is a sequence of motion until it stops, and then another cycle starts...
And then you will find that one of the biggest complaints about any tracking PTZ (regardless of manufacturer) is that if an object stops, so does the tracking. You cannot change this timing.
You can usually get it to not loose tracking so quickly if you change the target ratio a bit or turn PFA...
Not in Florida, but two DahuaPTZ's, another fixed point Dahua (night color), fixed point Hikvision (also night color), and a Camect NVR to with very good object A.I. to tell me if I need to chamber a round in the wee morning hours..
It is some sort of bug and it does it to those of us with the DahuaPTZ. I am only using onvif triggers and not BI motion and it will turn MD on. If I take the PTZ off of BI then MD stays off, but as soon as it is added back in it turns it back on.
First I have seen it with a fixed cam, but...
I have the DahuaPTZ model: DH-SD59225UN-HNI running on the latest firmware available on Dahua's website. I need to run automations on it using http API calls. So far i am able to move the cameras where i want to and even zoom on the correct level.
For example here is the api call for moving...
Suggest a good used computer from eBay with a i5-8500 or better (around $300 - $350) that will be dedicated as a Blue Iris server. A good but inexpensive 4MP DahuaPTZ will be around $425 if you really feel the need for one otherwise put that money into some 4MP Dahua cams which cost about $170...
I bought a new dahuaptz SD8A840-hnf-pa on alibaba. When I installed Dahua Toolbox app, it was shown that it's been already initialised though I thought I should initialise it myself as I watched on some tutorials on youtube about dahuaptz settings and connection. I needed to change it's ip...
