Can not log into camera with my laptop on one out of five Empire Tech cameras?
Yes that the right way to do it. Get out of that NVR interface. The Web GUI has more features and is easier to use. I haven't logged directly into my NVRs since 2014 Browser issue for sure. Try Edge in IE mode, or Pale moon. I have a few cameras that are very finicky as to which browser you use- bigredfish

Current 2mp two-way talk turret camera?
I finally got my 4M/T (3449 Pro) two way talk working from SmartPSS lite on the laptop and via the NVR, but I'm still having trouble with it from the DMSS app/phone. Mebbe I'm not holding my tongue right...- bigredfish

Maybe I haven’t had enough coffee yet, I was up late. But that makes no sense to me The 5442H-ZHE is possibly the best 5442 model, it can be adjusted to point just about anywhere, and if by “vario zoom” you mean variable, TIOC don’t zoom any differently than the 5442 fixed lens models- bigredfish

If set for forced Day Color then that's odd.. Possible: In the new UI schedule, its VERY VERY easy to miss a few seconds where the purple and yellow sliders don't match perfectly...but that would be same time every day- bigredfish

Dahua "Smart Dual Light" - is anyone familiar with these type of technology?
