All working now. I deleted all the Alerts, new, stored clips and database files. It was the last thing I was going to try before going to sleep last night, and yes it is now working!!!. Is there a limit on the number of files the database can handle?.

Installed 5.3.8.12 update still broken for me. Reported to Blue Iris support team.

Installing 5.3.8.11, fingers crossed. Now just locks-up Blue Iris when try and open a Camera window. Oh well back to 5.3.7.13

Been doing some testing using 5.3.8.9 When using 5.3.8.9 and Intel or NVidia, it causes Blue Iris to crash when I try and open a camera windows. I couldn't even get the NVidia NVS 510 card to work with hardware accelerated decode, back to using intel and 5.3.7.13 Wasted over four hours messing...

I been have the same problem with Blue Iris memory increasing over time. It been going up to using 24GB of memory. The latest version 5.3.8.7 still has the problem, went back to using 5.3.7.13 and it back to normal. Hasn't increased in memory size in 12 hours.

Been checking all settings everything was setup as in Wiki, and yes i did have "use substream when available" checked when viewing recordings, Doh!. Don't know how that got set, thanks for the help.

Installed v5.2.7.4 all appears to be working. The only thing I have changed was to to change two cameras that were using H.265 to H264. The cpu usage was back up to 70% when using H.265, but when switching back to H.264 it went back to 50% cpu usage. [emoji1696][emoji846] Sent from my iPhone...

My old Y-cam bullet MPEG4+Audio was also broken and 4.4.7.4 has just been downloaded which has fixed the issue. I mostly used my old Y-cam as an audio feed for my other cameras, nice to have sound back. :-)

Hi DT, This might help. If you going into camera properties for the camera and go into the motion/triggers menu and click "Use mask and hot spot" and use the edit button you can then use the mask brush or mask rectangle to mask out the tree limbs. It will then not detect motion on those areas...
