What am i doing wrong here. I have a 128gb sd drive and an 8tb normal drive. Both say they are full. How can i set bi to delete the recordings after a few weeks

Id like to view my cams on my phone. Im quite new to bi so appolgies if this has been covered before. What is the best way to view remotely. I heard mixed reviews on the bi app. Id like something quick and easy to use.

For anyone reading this thread in the future make sure when you gain access to the Swann interface you tick Network:RTSP : Anonymous login is ticked. Also some of my cams came out the box on a static 192 and other on a 172 address. Bit strange but hey ho. Also on Network section tick UPNP and...

QUITE BIZARRE! - just thought id have a go on Wireshark, so hooked the cam up to my other pc, downloaded a trial of BI and selected the correct swann profile in BI, as I had done before and it's worked?! Il go try it on my BI pc now. Both are exactly the same spec win 10 machines. Strange.

when you say the NVR do you mean the swann NVR? I do not own one, just using BI and these swann cams.

deleted the cam and tried to re add it, correct password/username and get the error 80000007a

I get the error RTSP 400 Bad Request in BI when I try add camera.

ive managed to get into the cam and get BI to detect it etc. I can see the live stream if i log in on internet explorer but not BI. Here are my settings. the password is correct so im thinking it must be something to do with a port? Ive selected the Swann profile for this camera in BI.

ive tried sadp, nothing. it is NHD-885MSB. I downloaded some Swann device config tool which can see the camera on an address of 172.16.1.152 but i cant seem to modify it do anything, when i click on the 172 link i get page cannot be found - i guess as my network is on a 192.168.

I have purchased a swann 4k poe camera. Ive connected it to the poe switch and blueiris, tried searching for it through BI but nothing comes up. How can I find out the devices ip address or get BI to detect it?

Ive had bi for a while now and all is well. One question i have though is when i replay video clips the clip runs out. So for example i replay last nights cctv and the clip lasts 2 hours. Once i come to the ensld should it not play the next one? Also how can i stop this from doing it and just...

I have my clip set to 1 day and 50gb on the main ssd then it moves to stored on the E drive. How do I access these as anything older than a day is just black on the bar on the bottom. thanks

I think there is some confusion here. Im on about the £10 ebay china rubbish, not the branded makes that are on ebay. I know Axis do some small kit but thats £700 odd. Hikvision etc dont seem to do small cameras.

Im after a POE camera to put on my fence, right on the edge of the boundry. Preferbly a very small dome. Can anyone advise of such a thing. Not including the rubbish from china on ebay please!

also im not sure why they 2 cameras are just black with nothing recorded. Sometimes this happens so its 4 out of the 5 that dont record. PC is brand new i7 with SSD and recordings go on to 8tb seagate

Ive had BI running for couple of days now. When I try to look at pre recorded footage it only goes back a few hours till 12 midnight last night, also out of 5 cams 4 are black screens?

its ok ive just gone through my gmail and found it! Im printing it out x500 sheets!

i dont want to clone the drive its a fresh install. I havent got the mobile app.

just installed new HD and downloaded BI again. Tried to look for the key and cant find the bloody thing. Ive still got BI on the old hard drive is there anyway to recover this? So annoyed, I always keep a diligent log of passwords etc.

into the POE port of the NVR or into POE Switch? thanks

They are Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I. The cameras are on 192.168.254.xxx. My router is on 192.168.0.1 shall i connect them to the POE via my PC and use SADP and it should find them? Thanks.

^ I dont know. I had them new in March 2018. Ive never upgraded them. How can I get in to them? I have access to a POE switch if that helps as accessing via the NVR seems restricted.

i had a 7600 series nvr. It lasted 2 weeks before going pop so they sent me a new one. Now I have an issue in that I cant add my cameras. The hikvision turrets dont have a reset switch and I cant remember the bloody password on them! How can I access them again.
