Aliexpress sellers not allowed to sell hikvision any more??

You are insisting if you buy DS-2CD3345-I it's 100% going to be DS-2CD2342WD-I, despite the H265 difference and the resolution difference on the specification and by the seller.

I'm just trying to make sure people get the right camera and not get something different to what they are thinking.

It would be a bummer if it's true, that they are selling a low end turret 4MP cam which btw is actually 3.6MP. I cancelled order for now until I get clarification from the seller.
 
This is quite unfortunate (but somewhat understandable).
I was ready to order two DS-2CD2332-I 6mm (needs to be shipped to the Netherlands). Does anyone know an affordable seller?
 
Just search on Ali just as many sellers as before, I just ordered 4 more cameras with 5.3.0 and 5.3.3 multi- language firmwares for testing.
 
After going back and forth with the seller, finally confirmed that it is a correct model with 0.07 sensitivity. Will be waiting for the other model to drop in price then.
 
There's no trace of 0.01Lux or 120db WDR on the Chinese Hikvision site. It looks like they separated the markets by more than model numbers this time and have different versions. Maybe some studies found that US buyers are more interested in WDR and H265 sells more in Asia?
To me it looks like this:
China gets lower price, 3.6MP, H265, 25fps
US gets higher price, 4MP, 0.01Lux 120db WDR, 20fps

The Dahua 4MP have 0.01/120db WDR and can be found on Ali

+1, I could not agree with you more. You no its funny because most these same people that bitch about price and purchase the cheap one from AliExspress or from wherever are the very ones hew come crying when they brick there camera trying to update the firmware.

How's about those of us who don't live in the US? There are other countries in the world so you know.

I'm definitely pro @milkisbad for those of us in the US but for those of us in Europe for example, that's not an option. Yes, I have a good supplier that I prefer to use but others prefer to use Ali etc, that is their choice.

Yeah, milkisbad says right in his post shipping costs even to Canada is prohibitive. This stinks. There aren't any suppliers in Canada similar to Wrightwood or Nelly's who carry Hiks that I'm aware of.

Has anyone had good experiences with smaller Ali stores that still carry some Hiks?
 
Also seller said DS-2CD3345(D)-I is Chinese language/firmware and they don't carry the other model.
 
Lots of the Ali Express Stores are now setting up second stores,
and are now contacting their client base with the new store details.

So it's business as normal, from the big stores that get mentioned in the forum alot.

I won't openly post the stores name, as this could end with that store closing as we know Hik read here too.

Does anyone have Milkisbad's latest product catalog? PM me a copy if you can, I reached out to him today but as busy as this forum keeps him with support and business I don't expect anything back until prob. Monday.

Yeah, I guess you were right. Just didn't realize that Hikvision would separate model numbers for different markets. I still want that turret with 0.01.
