I'll have to check. I'm not sure. The firmware was the latest but as you.mentioned my first was the Chinese version.

It's not clear if this specific one has WiFi capability. From what I can see, the model K55s definitely has, however is a lot more pricey.

Given the above, I'm wondering if there's any other option?

Just upgraded to IPC R2 EN STD V5.4.81 Build180203from IPC R2 EN STD 5.4.5 170123.
No issues so far.

I am trying to correct an issue with the Hik-Connect APP when changing to "SD" "Basic" or "HD" streams causes the Hikvision to reset back to 720p losing all settings.

Can confirm that this new firmware has fixed the issue of Hik-Connect resetting the camera resolutions and streams.

Is anyone experiencing very poor Wifi with these Cube cameras? I assumed it was my network and upgraded from an RT-AC87U to a Netgear ORBI and still have no signal drop outs with Blue Iris. Trying to access config with camera connected right next to router also is extremely laggy...

Probably a shot in the dark and this is a big necro, but do you or anyone else still happen to have these firmware files? I have a lone cam that looks like i never upgraded fw on (or used for that matter) and can't find my old copies of the fw either.

I was looking for 5.4.0. I think I've found it. the EU site still has 5.4.3 and 5.4.5. But I think I've found it in a retired section of the eu hikvision site.

Is there any compelling reason to upgrade past 5.4.5 170123 to either the newer 5.4.5 or 5.4.8? If I wanted to go to 5.4.8, should I upgrade to the newer 5.4.5 first?

Upgrade to 5.4.5 first just to be safe. I upgraded to 5.4.8 which fixed an issue with setting streams from HD to SD on the app would cause a hard change on the device basically resetting all image settings making it only 720p or pixelated

Yeah I took it to 5.4.5 and now just trying to see if any of ones past it is worth it. Seems like minor fixes for issues I don't seem to be affected by. As long as anything after 5.4.5 isn't for a security fix, i think I'll just stand pat and follow this thread. thanks!

I am currently on V5.4.5 build 171114 please could you supply a link for the 5.4.8 firmware as I can't find it. Thanks for your help.
