If your computer's network interface in the 192.168.254 address range?
Sorry, I'm new to networking. But are you referring to the IPv4 Address in the ipconfig /all in the command prompt?
The only camera that is displaying the the first one - 001.

No. It's actually 192.168.1

And this is my NVR camerage management screen on the NVR.

There's your problem then. It looks like you have an NVR involved so you probably don't want to change the camera addresses. You should be able to temporarily change your computer's address to 192.168.254.50 or something and when you're done resetting the camera's password, then you can change the computer back to DHCP mode.

Also this is probably something you should be aware of. How to Secure Your Network (Don't Get Hacked!) | IP Cam Talk

Thank you! I changed my computer's network IP to 192.168.254.xx and was able to change the password! Now I just need to figure out why it's there's no video on all except for one.

Oh wow, you have a lot more cameras than the SADP screenshot showed.

I've never had a Hikvision NVR so I really don't know the first thing about troubleshooting them. Doesn't the NVR tell you what the error is on all those with warning icons?

There's still the possibility that the cameras were hacked through the NVR, if the NVR is remotely accessible on the internet (which it may be even without your knowledge -- see the wiki page I linked).

RECUERDA QUE EL PROGRAMA PASSWORD RESET SOLO FUNCIONA CON ALGUNOS MODELOS Y ESPECIFICAMENTE CON ALGUNAS VERSIONES DE CONTRUCCION (FIRMWARE)
EN MI CASO LA VERSION v5.4.5 build 170123 NO LO DETECTA EL PROGRAMA. SOLO VERSIONES ANTERIORES, UNA VEZ DICHO ESTO GO.
BUSQUE TODAS LAS POSIBLES SOLUCIONES Y SOLO ME FUNCIONO ESTO

YO LO SOLUCIONE, SACANDO LA CÁMARA, RETIRANDO LOS PERNOS DEL VIDRIO DE SEGURIDAD, UNA VEZ ABIERTO, HAY UN PEQUEÑO BOTÓN EN EL INTERIOR.
1° DESCONECTA LA ENERGÍA ELÉCTRICA.
2° DEJAR PULSADO EL BOTÓN "NO SOLTAR"
3° CONECTAR LA ELECTRICIDAD
4° ESPERAR 20 SEGUNDOS Y SOLTAR EL BOTÓN.
5° REGRESAR AL NAVEGADOR WEB, INGRESAR LA DIRECCIÓN IP DE LA CÁMARA, APARECERÁ UN AVISO EL CUAL RECONOCIÓ UN NUEVO DISPOSITIVO Y TIENE QUE INGRESAR UNA CLAVE SEGURA.

Hi guys,

I tried a lot to find an answer about resetting password for my TURBO HD DVR DS-7100 Series but no luck, I tired with the script ( Hikvision Password Reset Toolinstalling Hikvision Tools v.1.2.1.2 to insert the code ) , I tried also an old software to reset password but same result, seems nothing is working.

I sent also an email with secret key but I haven't received any reply.

It's my father DVR and he doesn't have too much knowledges, he set a model to unlock cameras but he forget model and password also..

I hate what's happening and I spend few hours reading without results.

It's there a chance to help me?

Thank you!

Hello all,
Thank you, BP for great tool - I unlock 7 / 8 cams... 8th cam is with never FV, but I success downgrade it with TFTP and FV from official site for this model...
Now I have troubles with NVR DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A0820170110AARRxxxxxxxWCVU

I try to upgrade FV with TFTP, but I receive this messages:

[2018-05-16 20:48:55] Connect client[172.16.235.20] success
[2018-05-16 20:48:55] Open file[C:\Users\Mobile\Desktop\TFTP 5.30\econt_Vision-AV2000] failure

what I cant do to repair this situation and change FV to my NVR (and reset admin pass)?

thank you

That's not a real error - it's the NVR probing for ArecontVision devices on the LAN near the end of the normal startup.

I could guess that the PC running the tftp updater does not have the IP address set to 192.0.0.128

This is IP, If IP is different, NVR (and cams) no connect to software...
I have success with one IP cam, now I change digicap.dav file, but NVR connect and send this message... What I need to do?

Sometimes you may need to power cycle a few times before it connects.

Ok, so maybe the NVR isn't using the 192.0.0.64 address to probe for the tftp server.
As a long shot, try setting the PC to 192.168.1.128 and see if it connects.

NVR connect to TFTP server, I read message "connected", but next message is this with error.. If I no have first connection, I will try with wireshark to catch first connect signal.. but NVR connect with software.
Maybe I need to do something different.. I will try again this night..

Yes, but when it does this, it's with the normal, running, IP address, not the 192.0.0.64 that's used to probe for the tftp updater.

Check if the tftp updater shows 'initiallised at 192.0.0.128' at startup.

I've found trying a different firmware sometimes works to get past that error. Which firmware are you trying to install?

Have you tried other firmwares? Try the one it initially came with, which is usually listed on the sticker on the bottom.

Thank you so much for the Hikvision Password Reset Tool 1.1.0.1! I should have come here a few months ago when Hikvision support refused to send me the reset codes.
