Dahua has released the IPC-HFW1831C-PIR an 8mp cam with built in PIR, mic/speaker and white light. This same camera is already sold under the lorex brand - lnb8105x and discussed in other threads.
Unlike the 1831/2831 large 8k bullets that use a large 1/1.8 sensor good for low light, this uses the 1/2.5 sensor. Note they are only available in 2.8mm according to the spec sheet.

EDIT: to clarify there is nothing in the specs about a speaker. The lorex version does have a speaker and there the dahua is almost certain to have one as well.

Lorex lnb8105x
Lorex LNB8105X Talk audio

EDIT (1/24/19): There is a speaker and two way audio will be supported in the next BI release.

Looking forward for some info. I was thinking of getting one for testing as well but I might as well wait a little more :)
Does it have PIR though? I couldn't find any info in the specs or datasheets, neither on Dahua or Lorex, just the product code that has PIR in it.

isn't the LNB8105X-C thing around $140 lorax already sells bundled with nvr systems?

4K Active Deterrence Network Security Camera

so why the big deal with dahua, because they may sell it as singles nvr independent?

btw, if you want a single to play with, ebay's full of domestic sellers at the moment.

Did you miss the first post with a link to the lorex cameras?
The dahua will likely be cheaper and may have IVS functions that dahua strips out on its lorex brand and it will have more regular firmware updates to quash bugs that are inevitable in a new camera. If you want a lorex to play with you can buy a full kit from costco and return it later. These ebay sellers are simply parting out costco kits to suckers.

what are IVS functions?

so the costco bundle lorax being parted out on ebay
yes = will work as stand along ip cams, or
no = are still dependent on some nvr?
They will work as stand alone ip cameras but you are a sucker if you buy them.

Its worth noting, I didn’t see any mention of an Micro SD card in the Lorex model, unless I missed it.

Just another example of stripped features I would find rather useful, especially to use stand alone.
