The IPC-HFW4239T-ASE-NI is listed by the firmware as supported camera. I don't know if it's the same as IPC-HFW4239T-ASE. See the file attached to this post: Latest New 20180813 Firmware for DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea
Is this firmware ok to use on IPC-HFW4239T-ASE as stated in first post as the filename in the firmwares start 5x3x and not 4x3x ?
Is there a reason why with this firmware camera is constantly trying to get to 54.241.203.224 which is assigned/owned to Amazon?
This did not occur with 2017 firmware that camera came with, regardless, I am still blocking it from any internet access and just curious about 54.241.203.224
Edit:
All cloud and P2P is disabled. Yes, double checked after firmware upgrade.
This version support HDMI port IP camera and PIR IP camera. Seems new ones WAITING to release.
The firmware also suit for some other new models which release very soon, such as the PIR bullet I will arrange a testing here soon. What did you mean by this?
There has many new firmware after 2017-10 you can check on the forum too. After reading this thread entirely, it seems I should hold off upgrading to the current firmware?
I am currently running 2.622.0000000.18.R, Build Date: 2017-11-10
When looking for the "P2P" option all I could find was Network>TCP/IP> "Easy4ip" folder...is this it?
I understand, but due to stability is it worth performing upgrade? There has many new firmware after 2017-10 you can check on the forum too.
You can go either way, ... imo there's no right/wrong answer. Some folks don't upgrade unless there's a new feature (or bug fix) that they're looking for. Some folks upgrade immediately because they like running the latest version.I understand, but due to stability is it worth performing upgrade?
Sure, it can work outHello guys,
|s this firmware compatible with IPC-HDW4431EM-ASE cameras? I can't find anything related to 4431 and the last official firmware is from 2017.
Thank you in advance.
Thank you, Andy!Sure, it can work out
Disable smart codecThank you, Andy!
However, the content of IVS tab is not visible with this 31R firmware even after resetting the camera to factory defaults. Any ideas?
Many thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion, fenderman. The smart codec is disabled and it seems this issue is with Chrome only (even after clean cache) as I can see the content of IVS tab in IE... Anyway, I'm going to stick with the most up to date firmware for now.Disable smart codec
