Latest New 20180813 Firmware for DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea

Ok is there a consensus which in currently best and most stable for use on the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE

Thanks in advance

Is there a reason why with this firmware camera is constantly trying to get to 54.241.203.224 which is assigned/owned to Amazon?
This did not occur with 2017 firmware that camera came with, regardless, I am still blocking it from any internet access and just curious about 54.241.203.224

Edit:
All cloud and P2P is disabled. Yes, double checked after firmware upgrade.

I reported this a few months ago, but no one was able to shed any further light on it.

I would love to know what it is:

IPC-HDW5231R-ZE trying to contact Amazon IP

(My cameras are/were running 2.622.0000000.18.R,2017-11-10)

What did you mean by this?
The firmware also suit for some other new models which release very soon, such as the PIR bullet I will arrange a testing here soon.

After reading this thread entirely, it seems I should hold off upgrading to the current firmware?

I am currently running 2.622.0000000.18.R, Build Date: 2017-11-10

When looking for the "P2P" option all I could find was Network>TCP/IP> "Easy4ip" folder...is this it?

There has many new firmware after 2017-10 you can check on the forum too.

I understand, but due to stability is it worth performing upgrade?
You can go either way, ... imo there's no right/wrong answer. Some folks don't upgrade unless there's a new feature (or bug fix) that they're looking for. Some folks upgrade immediately because they like running the latest version.

Hello guys,

|s this firmware compatible with IPC-HDW4431EM-ASE cameras? I can't find anything related to 4431 and the last official firmware is from 2017.

Thank you in advance.

Sure, it can work out

Disable smart codec
Thanks for the suggestion, fenderman. The smart codec is disabled and it seems this issue is with Chrome only (even after clean cache) as I can see the content of IVS tab in IE... Anyway, I'm going to stick with the most up to date firmware for now.

NTSC (DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_Eng_N_Stream3_V2.622.0000000.31.R.180813) version on IPC-HDW5231R-ZE, did anyone notice that "Clear Log" button is missing under Information > Log after selecting a time frame... Or, is it just me?

...on Pale Moon browser

I've noticed my SD card has disappeared from my 5231 cams.....currently on :
IPC-HDW5231R-Z
System Version2.640.0000002.0.R, Build Date: 2018-05-23

Anyone experienced this? is it the firmware? should i revert to an earlier one or upgrade to newer? or try restore to defaults or something?
The 2 cams this has happened on also are constantly losing connection too..ie "no signal" Error 8000274d (refused; check ip)

Thanks!
