I wonder if it might stop while using a 12v 1.2 or 2.0 amp wall wart?
That is the only thing I haven't tried and is about the only thing left to try.I wonder if it might stop while using a 12v 1.2 or 2.0 amp wall wart?
If that works, then it probably means the cam has a problem, not the network.I wonder if it might stop while using a 12v 1.2 or 2.0 amp wall wart?
It's had no issues while plugged into a 12v 2a power supply all day. So there must be something fucky with the camera. If that works, then it probably means the cam has a problem, not the network.
Other than having the camera serviced/replaced, this would be an option. However the location isn't horrible to run wire to and I do already have a power supply close by feeding some IR illuminators I could maybe pull power off of.
Yea, I would be running a dedicated line to the camera if I went this route. It's a 5a power supply with 40w of IRs on it right now. I should be fine adding this, but would possibly go a little bigger if I added it.Just watch the load on the power supply and what the voltage drop might be on the cable supplying the IRs and camera.
