Mini PTZ v1: Firmware Discussion

Re: Mini PTZ: Firmware discussion

Anyone else having problems setting positions with this firmware?

Since upgrading to this on one cam, if I set or change a position, it doesn't record the zoom, it just defaults to 1x. It remembers the position and even the focus (so if it's meant to be zoomed in the focus is wrong), but always 1x zoom.

I tried resetting to factory defualts, didn't help.

Went back to the previous firmware and everything works OK.

Re: Mini PTZ: Firmware discussion

Received mine 9 days after ordering (shipped to US via epacket) with the V1.0.2 Build 201511191322 installed. Quickly downgraded to the 0924 firmware after verifying that the zooms were indeed not being saved in the presets. So far so good. Appreciate this thread (and the other ones)!

Re: Mini PTZ: Firmware discussion

Hello everybody,

since I have "IPNC_Amba_V1.0.2_build201509241743.zip" updated to the firmware, the camera will reboot every 20 to 30 minutes.
It does not matter if it is powered via PoE or a power adapter.

Can anyone make an old version of a downgrade available to me?

Best regards
Michael

Re: Mini PTZ: Firmware discussion

Hello,

i have the Huisun HS-SCB405IP-V10. the same firmware.

There is no problem with power supply. inuse an extern power supply 2 ampere.

Thomas

the camera accepts only pure letters or pure numbers as names for the position. We use the scheme "syno0" or "syno1" etc

There is a QR code under maintenance section with the option to choose open-close. Does anyone one what it is used for?

That's for the 'cloud' service, some chinese website that you probably don't want to give access to your camera and lan.
