Pandemic threat? Anyone else concerned?

I was at Home Depot today ( I'm putting in new valves for my bathroom vanity , yay ).

Anyway I ordered some parts I needed online for pickup, I was waiting for my parts at the special outside table they have setup at the front of the store (they are requiring all customers to wear masks inside btw). I was talking to the girl at the pickup table out front of the store. and she says while pointing behind me; "That guy spit on an associate".

And I turn to see this guy driving a brand new SUV Benz driving away. I asked her "that guy in the Benz?" and she said yes.

What's up with people? Times are different so I guess he could not handle it. Sad.

Yeah, and it all started with Trump claiming that COVID-19 was nothing more than a "Democrat Hoax" and that it would just "Go away like magic in April." He said the number of cases would quickly go from 15 to zero. Remember that? Trump himself is in charge of the "Destroy Trump" campaign. Why doesn't he simply shut the heck up? Why doesn't he simply allow the MEDICAL EXPERTS to run the daily briefings? BECAUSE HE THINKS HE IS SMARTER THAN THE GENERALS AND SMARTER THAN THE DOCTORS AND HE WANTS TO REMAIN IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. Sorry to say he simply isn't so smart. He is a narcissist with a huge ego and that is all. But wow, his defenders have certainly gulped down the Kool-Aid. According to them he is a poor, mistreated scapegoat, and no matter what silly thing Trump says it is somehow somebody else's fault that Trump said it.

Having looked at Global Times and other CCP government media, I also look at the opposing media to get a balance of some sort

The Epoch Times had an interesting piece. ( Note bias anti-CCP )

Big item which I believe is factual is that much of the Chinese economy is geared to exports. Right now with the world under lockdown and the Pandemic there will be a lot of "knock on" economic impact on China ( PRC ).

No kidding. China is a nation of 1.39 billion mostly factory workers. Google Maps Wuhan, it is a city of high-rise apartment buildings that the CCP own. There is almost zero middle class in mainland China, as is typical of all socialist/communist countries.

Thank goodness for Google Maps. It not only helps with IPVM, but it also helps with confirming the facts on the social and political norms of a country. :lol:

Yeah it might look all modern and high tech but I won't be giving up my single dwelling house to live in a sea of high rise apartment buildings.

When you see the city lit up as a synchronized light show as was noted in the opening up ceremony after the lockdown. This is the "Disney" or "Las Vegas" psychology of sorts on a people that the CCP wants to have complete control over.
