I'm coming to live with you for 5 months Andy! China has been there and done that now! They are safe to turn things around and lock the rest of the world out! PS: You might want to temporarily change your resident address to a place in Hong Kong for a few weeks, get some of those government dollars!! :) I'm glad things are getting better there!

Aha welcome! But have to stay at hotel for 2 weeks can't go anywhere firstly. :D They will authorize you to go after 2 weeks and release an e-License for in and out, each day 2 times only.

I agree with that. Most of the cases in this country have been people transported from overseas such as the cruise ship in Japan. Just be diligent.

Hard to do when a ceartain party is turning this into a politcal bullshit game and denying our President funding for preparation. Stupid fucking politics. If it does hit here, i hope the ones fucking Americans catch it and clean the swamp for good.

1) Youtube is demonetizing many corona virus videos, perhaps all corona virus related videos by non-major news sites.

2) Do also keep your mind alert when looking at those articles.

Some of the authors / new media have particular slants and have no issues playing the "woke" / "pc" card / "everything is fine"....

Notice: Mother Jones / Ali Breland dismissed his PhD because ... it is dated from 1994? So that makes it invalid? It is a degree in Pathology? So that makes it not as good as a general MD? ...

( CFR - Chris Martenson updates the information later as more info comes available. .. last I check about 4% in wuhan due to the hospitals getting swamped, about 1% in areas where the hospitals can handle it.. )

Common cold is a form of Coronavirus (or a rhinovirus) ... So the fact that disinfectant lists killing Coronavirus doesn't imply some of the foil hat conspiracies I've heard around the internet.

Coronaviruses are a miserable sickness to get.. But they die easily on surfaces. Pretty sure even Vinegar will kill them.

Chris Martenson ( the Pathologist which Mother Jones, the Bloomberg article noted previously, and others poo poo'ed on ) did a very good update just now titled: "Coronavirus Containment Has Failed"

Basically there's now a balancing act which countries must deal with:
1) Stop the Contagion ( need to keep people isolated and contained to prevent the spread, get R0 below 1.0 )​
2) Keep Economy Going ( need to keep economy going. At least enough to feed everyone. )​
3) Need to keep infection rate below level that swamps hospitals. ( keep hospitals working. )​

Each nation will probably emphasis one of the 3.

You can tell which side a particular leader / media is on by what they state in public / print / broadcast.

Example: Those who say "nothing to worry about" = keep economy going ( #2 )

He highlighted the following which was published in FT ( Financial Time )

"Georges Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association, said: “Everybody should take a deep breath. It’s about preparedness.” He advised that businesses should consider giving employees paid sick leave to ensure they do not come to work when ill, and put in place contingency plans so everyone can work from home.
