I just upgraded my VTO2000a / VTH1560 / VTH1550CH with the below firmware kindly provided by fa355115
- VTH151X_EngItlFrnGerDutSpnPrt_V4.000.100B000.0.T.20180906
- VTOXXX_EngItlFrnGerDutSpnPrt_P_16M_V3.120.001P000.0.T.20181025

But now the VTH don't connect to the VTO anymore, while if I add the VTO as an IPC in the VTH I can get the video.

Could someone help me reconfiguring it ?

Btw, I also noticed that on the VTH there's no "project" settings anymore.

VTO/VTH shall be same firmware V3.1 or new version V4.3.

I flashed my VTH-1560B and VTH-1550CH with latest firmware VTH 201903 (from the link here above) but both failed and got bricked. I had to use the TFTP method to get them back alive.

Does anybody knows which SIP firmware support my VTH ?

What FW did you install to get it running again? Can you post your MCU version - maybe you have to upgrade this as well.
I got pos. feedback from a VTH1550CH user and also, if FW would not "fit" your device you would not be able to flash it with VDPconfig.

I was able to upgrade the MCU to General_VTH15X0CH-6_ENG_MCU_STM8S003K3_V8.000.0000.0.R.170825
But upgrading to SIP firmware failed again "Config result : Failed to upgrade", so VTH bricked again.

The firmware was flashed correctly and the VTH now show a SIP tab in the config menu Still have to configure it.

Do you mean I could you the vth5221d_4_3_multilanguage_file.bin on top of the General_VTH151X_SIP_V4.300.00000000.8.R.20190316.bin ?

I have vto2000a ..... updated with the firmware above to Spanish.

vth1510ch-s1 of factory sip2.0 in English ..... pending to see if the partner managed to go to Spanish mixing firmware.

when I said it was locked I jump my alarm and look at the methods to recover

it cost me a lot for the vth to connect to the vto and now I install everything permanently
I will be in the forum since I intend to unify everything with home asistant.

just let me enter numbers so I can't put in rtsp.

try to load the languages pack and it gives error

The language pack of the dahua download page only shows the:

875367_General_VTH1510-data_EngTurSlkPldHgrFinCzeBul_P_16M_SIP_PART_V4.300.0000004.0.R.20190612.zip

the same you have in the list of firmwares.

vth5221d_4_3_multilanguage_file.bin is not supported and don't appear on the list

Hi,

during trying to load a new FW (from V3.120.102600.0.R.20180620 to "V3.120.0000.0.R.20190222") I bricked by VTO2000A-C: it is booting, but the LED of the nameplates keep on.

Status of the VTO:
it provides answers to PING (192.168.0.107)
PuTTY is not able to connect via Telnet (neither port 22 nor 23).
Portscanner nmap do not find any open port

WHAT can I do?

5x the security switch on the backside doesn't solve it.
ring botton during boot doesn't change anything.

There is no way to unbrick your VTO with RS422/RS485 nor with a SD-card.
I would use TFTP method in your situation. There is a very nice thread here describin all neccessary steps.
