Annke Firmware to Hikvision Firmware: HOW TO

I will ;)

it should be for everyone
even if you don't care about your privacy, hacked device (and specially camera) are a pain for internet network and hosting provider.

Actually I don't understand why annke doesn't provide an official open repository with those firmware.
and it's not something that is difficult to make (a simple webserver listing file on it and that's all you need)

I'm not sure I would have bought those camera if I have found that before.
what is the difficulty in writing to annke technical support and getting the firmware? annke is an OEM assembler of hikvision, as a rule, OEMs do not make firmware publicly available and updates are rare. if you want the functionality of hikvision, then buy it, not annke, 3 times cheaper.

what is the difficulty???
it's completly stupid to have to write/wait for someone to allow sending you a firmware update...

this rule is a complete bullshit
and it's not writed clearly on their website.
when you buy the cam you have to find it by yourself when you want to update you camera...
even more there are some guide that seems to indicate at first check that there are regular upgrade and a download page (but if you check it precisely they are all old and even not for all devices).

That's not how it should be done in 2025.

Please express your complaints to the contact addresses of the annke representative office. It is useless to write about it here. Don't like annke products? Use another vendor.

I don't think it's useless to share with every other user of this forum the issue with annke firmware policy

And I would not buy an other product again
but now I have those 2 cam because it's was not clear what they are doing.

You seems to say it's normal and it's my fault.

stop shedding your tears, I wrote to you above, contact annke's technical support, it works great. or buy an annke recorder or better yet hikvision DS-7608NXI-K1 and you will be happy.

Hi all. i have the I91DW of annke, is there a hikvision variance for this? i cant find a hikvision camera of the same device.

The annke camera is suffering from buggy light adaptation modes (WDR or HLC) when either is enabled, the camera stream will become black after seconds, minutes, hours and even had some days once. (but keeps working, stream is valid, just everything black) if its disabled, it works forever. Firmware was updated around 1 year ago, and even annke support took teamviewer sessions with me to try to find the cause. after 2 months, they said i had to file for a replacement because they couldnt find the issue and fix it. Which is silly because i had 2, and both suffered from it. so it was not just the camera.

Thats why i hope there is a hikvision variance available to flash somewhere.

Successfully flashed Annke C1200 (I91DN) with Hik DS-2CD1383G2 Firmware_V5.8.4_241023 (G6). New web interface, all functions prefect. As sensor is 8Mp camera does not suppport higher resolution after flash.

This is a poor camera with shitty sensor and terrible picture quality with 12.5fps@8Mp (10fps@12Mp interpolated with original firmware) so absolutely NOT recommended.

Does human and cars detecion work properly on hik firmware and is not only recorded, but also marked in viewing recordings? And does remote configuration work?

everything will work, annke is an OEM hikvision assembler, the hardware is all the same in them.

I would take DS-7616NXI-K2, it does all the tasks, updates come every month, has acusens for any 2 cameras, you need to take it without POE, it is evil on the recorder and creates a lot of problems

I can confirm on DS-7616NXI-K2(D) everything works properly with both hik and annke cameras, hdd up to 16TB, 18HDD work, but have some issues.
N48PAW V4 (C-R-K21B2-00) most likely closer to DS-7608NI-Q1/8P
I checked it on hik partner site by serial numbers N48PAW V4 is DS-7608NI-Q1/8P(D) version branded for USA ANNKE, latest firmware for that is V4.83.015_250212
Hi everyone,

with your help I flashed my first Annke camera already. Everything working good so far!
Now, I purchased a I91DU (NCBR800) camera and flashed to V5.7.19 build 241207

From what I could see, it should be DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/S(L)(RB)

Now, my problem is that the red alarm light is always on. I tried to dealarm in the settings, tinkered around with the lighting but the red light stays on.
Is it a firmware issue or misconfiguration?

It's not that G3 camera for sure and newer versions of firmware than V5.7.15 are bugged. NCBR800 is DS-2CD2387G2H-LISU/SL, you've flashed the wrong firmware, be glad that it even works and you didn't brick it, flash the correct one DS-2CD2387G2H-LISU/SL

Hi,
I confirm what you wrote about N48PAW and DS-7608NI-Q1/8P(D).

I'll add from my experience, as I own an N48PAW V3 and have updated the software to the version you outlined in your post. It is V4.83.015_250212
After this update there is a change from (C-R-K21B2-00) to (B-R-K21B2-00)

Newest annke firmwares for some cameras, first two are branded for Annke USA that I got from hik partner:
Annke AC1200 I91DN revision V5.7.1 V4 with some fixes from 16.05.2025, haven't tested, there is a release note in chinese in that file saying that they fixed issues reported by users - link

deepl translation from that file for AC1200 with screenshots:
1. Enable DHCP by default
2.web interface using customer logo, as in Figure 1, Figure 2
3. Default time zone is GMT-5:00 (if the device does not have rtc clock chip, this item is not for reference), and ntp timing is enabled by default, as in Figure 2
4. 8M devices customise the main stream to increase the resolution of 4096*3072, and the default is 4096*3072, Frame Rate defaults to 10fps, Video Type defaults to composite streams, Max. Bitrate defaults to 6144 Kbps. As shown in Figure 3
5. When the main stream resolution is 4096*3072 and the Video Encoding option is H.264 (shown in the red box in Figure 4), the rotation can not be turned on. If you need to test the image rotation, you need to switch the resolution option or Video Encoding to other. If you don't need to test, you don't need to pay attention to it.
6, 8M device sub stream default 1280 * 720P resolution, Frame Rate default 10fps, Video Type default composite stream. As Figure 5
7, Motion Detection default on, full-screen detection, tick the man-vehicle classification, as Figure 6
8. Video Recording default on, Event Type is Motion Detection, as Figure 7, if the device is shipped with an SD card, pay attention to not record the production screen.
9. Volume input volume size is modified to 80 by default, as shown in Figure 8
10. SD card pre-allocation is modified to 95% video, 5% picture by default, as shown in Figure 9
