    4x 2mp Dahua chunky preview

Maybe, I dont have a recent Dahua set up to check atm (we're moving house). Is there an option for H264, rather than H264H?

Edit: I see your screenshot shows the encoding. Maybe try H264 if possible. I've had similar problems with different encoding.

The plugin was in relation to the watched items only being notified of one post until the user visits the thread again Mike. If they've fixed that too then cool :)

We have new software & a new theme!

Hey Mike. The site's looking and running great, thanks for all your hard work! Regarding the email notifications above, I've used this add-on in the past and it's worked well, although from memory it can be a bit tedious to setup at first. [bd] Forum Watch for XenForo 1.2+

Blue Iris keeps changing camera FPS and it screws up my clips.

In the last BI update Ken included some changes to the way these frame rate variations are handled, and he suggested enabling "Use RTSP/stream timecode" (under Camera properties -> Video -> Configure) if it's not already. Might be worth a try.

Dahua Mini Black Face PTZ (SD29204S-GN & SD29204T-GN)

No, it works fine. The only minor issue is that the diagonal arrows/movement don't work (at least with the settings I'm using), but horizontal and vertical are fine. Presets are all good too.

Best deal on Imporx (Huisun) v2!

You should only need to set each preset in the browser, then they will just work in BI without having to do the BI part of your process above.

Best deal on Imporx (Huisun) v2!

When I try to set a preset in my V2 in BI the cam restarts itself and the preset fails to take. Everything else works OK, so I just set the presets via the browser interface.

Dahua Mini Black Face PTZ (SD29204S-GN & SD29204T-GN)

That's the same as my most recently purchased one, and newer PTZ Version than my older ones, so it may be the most recent firmware. Eitheir way they all work fine for me so I wouldn't risk an update.

Huisun 10x v1 mini PTZ completely dead

I have 3 V1s survive summer here in Australia, and one of them is painted matte black and is in the the sun all day. Hopefully any failures due to heat are the exception rather than the norm.

    4.3.9 - June 8, 2016

It's much better than .2 for me. With "use rtsp/stream timecode" selected for each cam the choppiness is mostly solved (unlike in .2 even with this selected). Exporting clips (I only tried MP4) seems fine too.

Best deal on Imporx (Huisun) v2!

I had a V1 that used to do exactly this, and when I powered it with a 12v supply instead of PoE it came good. In my case the issue was cruddy old cat 5 cable.

Ken has replied saying there is a fix coming in 4.3.9.3 which should smooth out these issues.

    Blue Iris Update Error

Check to see if the frame rate for each cam is the same in BI as it is set in the camera. The auto-framerate adjustment in BI is causing choppiness in my case.

    4.3.9 - June 8, 2016

Yes, it's working fine, until the auto-framerate feature kicks in and adjusts the FPS in BI up by one fps. If I go and and reset it back to the same as the camera's setting then all is smooth again. I'd be interested to know if anyone else is seeing the same. I'm currently swapping emails with...

Side of house camera and neighbor's light issue

If the neighbour's light isn't daytime-bright, depending on where the ambient light sensor is on the camera, you may be able to put some semi-transparent tape over/in front of it to "adjust" its day/night sensitivity.

    Cantonk 2.4MP Speed dome PT5AM22XH200

In BI you can use Event Schedule (under the Schedue tab for the cam), set a preset and tick 'Search back at startup/reset' as a park function. It works pretty well, but doesn't give you as much control (eg over time to return to the chosen preset) as some park features.

Still trying to get zone motion detection to work... see example attached

Not sure if this is any help, but from my own experimenting it appears that for an object to be detected moving from one zone to another, it must first satisfy the object size, contrast and the make-time criteria. This might not be possible with an object coming from some of the narrow areas of...
