Hi! I bought a DS-2DE3304W-DE mini PTZ chinese only with FW 5.3.10. I have the language missmtatch problem with IVMS-4200 Problem. Can I make my camera multi lingual and working with IVMS-4200?

I've not seen this model, but I think your best option on this one is to use the older version of ivm-4200 which supports both regions of camera, the downgrader is not going work on this model.

This is the 2MP Version of my camera. I bought the 3MP Version by AliExpress. http://overseas.hikvision.com/europe/Products_accessries_498_i11775.html

The older Version of ivms-4200 works fine but I couldn't find some Features like privacy mask or Motion detection. Do you have an idea how I can use this features with the older v2.00.01.04?

Well I've had some fun over the weekend! I cannot for the life of me to get my DS-2CD2532F-IS to come up with a browser login page. It exhibits that bootloop folks have noted in the forums where v4.08build 150401 is shown in SADP, but port 80 is greyed out and I cannot change the default IP (192.168.1.64); it times out. I changed my PC IP to be on the same network, but cannot access the page or change the IP. Tried to the tools app with SADP built in and throws an error.

From what I've tested, after trying to loaded 10+ different firmware versions, here are the only firmware versions I've been able to push to the device which provides a success message via TFTP:

But, it causes the issue above, so I'm stuck.

I've tried the two firmware versions on the first page on this thread, but the transmit page never goes to success. I know TFTP is working, since I can push the ones above with no issue. I have it on the root with no firewall blockage.

So I guess I either need the CN version of 5.2.5, which I hope someone can share with me, or give me some next steps, since I'm mentally drained. I've attached two pics of the camera back and front, for model, year, etc...





At this point, I want a working camera, and will take Chinese. If anyone can help me here, it would be greatly appreciated.

I solved too. Camera DS-2CD2632F-IS V5.3.0_150513 Date 10/2015. My problem i wasn't getting "Device[192.0.0.64] system update completed!" after "Completed file[E:\TFTP\digicap.dav] transmit" with chinese 5.3.0 firmware, got this mesage only with EN 5.3.0 which booted in auto loop.

So mesage "Device[192.0.0.64] system update completed!" MUST be for successful camera debrick!

If your camera don't write "Device[192.0.0.64] system update completed!" it is WRONG firmware. Wrong can be if it is wrong version or wrong language flag.

So i changed language flag of whoslooking "Custom Firmware Downgrader 5.3.0 Chinese to 5.2.5 English" firmware version with command "hiktools lang digicap.dav 1" ant it worked!

Also while tftp update process going you should able ping 192.0.0.64 device. With wrong firmware you lost ping after "Completed file[E:\TFTP\digicap.dav] transmit" but with right firmware you get ping till "Device[192.0.0.64] system update completed!". So if you lost ping after "Completed file[E:\TFTP\digicap.dav] transmit" Do not expect (or wait) to get "Device[192.0.0.64] system update completed!".

You need Hikvision FIRMWARE TOOLS https://www.ipcamtalk.com/showthread.php/2733-Hikvision-FIRMWARE-TOOLS-change-language-extract-files-and-create-own-firmware
If you use this version, command in windows command promt (CMD) will be "hiktools05R1 lang digicap.dav 1" or "c:\folder\hiktools05R1 lang digicap.dav 1"
hiktools05R1.exe should be in the same folder as camera firmware file digicap.dav, you can read hiktools help file.
After command execution language flag in this digicap.dav file will be changed. (check file date will be new, size will be as was before)

I need your kindly help.

I have a Hikvision DS-7104N-SN (Firmware: V3.0.13 build 150503, Encoding: V5.0 build 150413) and a Hikvision 2CD2032-I camera (Firmware: V5.2.5 build 141201, Encoding: V5.0 build 140714) and I want to buy some Hikvision 2CD-2032F-IW camera. The chinese supplier wrote me that the new 2CD-2032F-IW won't be working with my NVR because of old firmware.

My question is how can I solve this issue? Which is the better, safer way?

1. Can I upgrade the NVR's firmware to newer one?

or

2. Can I downgrade the 2CD-2032F-IW firmware to 5.2.5?

Which is the right way and how can I do it?

Hi guys,

I had success with the following firmware.
IPC_R2_EN_STD_5.3.0_150513.zip

With that I managed to flash the Chinese version firmware to English and works just fine.

The downgrader will work with this model, then the mtd hack to make it English. I own 2 of these and it works well.

You don't need to downgrade. Just flash it with 5.3.0 150513 build and it will be english

Hey Guys, seriously old school newbie here. Got myself in a little deep for my shameful lack of technical skills, but seems I have a couple of DS-2CD2232I5 cameras (V5.3.0) that refuse to connect to my 7716NI. I've tried to change IP address and gateway but won't accept password and modify parameters via sadp tool. Looks like this 5.3.0 downgrader is maybe exactly what these camera's need. Would you agree with this assumption?

Dang it.! When I use the sadp tool it seems to refuse the password. Try to reset password with cool password retrieval fix and still no go. When connected to nvr they show up as activated but try as I may they just won't make a working connection. Maybe time to give up on them and buy some more 5.2.5 cams and chalk it up to that ever growing list of expensive lessons.?

Try the cams in Webinterface first. If you get image there then put in NVR. And dont use auto setup, set it to manual and enter every details.

Newer cams have default password: abc12345

Hi Everyone.
I have 3132 f-iws 08/2015 which was stuck on reboot loop. I spent entire Sunday looking for solution to this!
Now is 10pm and I just wanted to say big Thank YOU to optic as this solved my issues (at least for now). I now wonder if I should update to 5.30 (original in-cam software 5.3.0 150513) or leave it as it is?
