Even with the 2017-04-18 Firmware you had to find out yourself what's changed... for the NVR4xxx (lite version) there's a release note PDF with new features etc.

Anyway, thanks for your notes... i just flashed it into my NVR and will see what changed to the release from 2017-04-18.

As far i could tell for now, it runs stable since a few hours for me. The bug that you can't control multiple PTZ if you are using a app like SmartPSS or *DMSS is fixed. I'm able again to control all PTZ after selecting them.
Also it is now possible to add license plates with more then six characters in the black-/whitelist. But it seems it's only usable for configuring a cam which supports that feature. So it does not save different settings for different channels in my testing. This behavior was the same prior to this firmware.
Seems the IVS Settings don't like my chinese domestic HDBW4431R-ZS. Whether rules which are configured in the cam are viewable in the NVR, nor it is possible to add new rules from the NVR WebUI. All other channels seem to work.

My issue, I can not configure using the web GUI. Everthing is blank.

I had something similar on a camera once, clearing the web browser cache cured it... Maybe worth a try.

For now it works. The only really sad thing for me was, that I could not import my backed up settings. So after factory reset I've got to configure everything from scratch now
Maybe my backup is faulty or it is not possible between the version. Maybe someone else could verify.

I did the update, didn't save or try to update my settings. Everything is as it was before the update. But I did not do a factory reset.
