Nice...I can't even deposit my paycheck today because the banks are closed.

Here up in Saratoga County, things are not as crazy as downstate, however our banks are for the most part on drive thru but if you need the lobby they are asking you to make a appointment. Our stores are stocked and YES they have limited toilet paper and hand sanitizer, Job Lots has a good supply of both but is keeping the hand sanitizer behind the counter.

Wow, sorry to hear you're both been sick for so long.

Everyone who is showing symptoms should be tested, as well as those in close contact, and the care takers of those at significant risk. Hopefully we'll see the promised test kits distributed soon so that more testing can be done.

Going on 16-days now and I'm still sick! It's freaky. I never get sick...or better stated when I I've gotten sick in the past I usually recover within 24 to 48 hours. I'm going on 16 days now...Mrs. Q's got it too. Upper respiratory congestion, runny nose, headache, lethargy, but no fever, and no sore throat. Yesterday (03/19/20), I called the NY State Covid-9 Hotline yesterday who asked me "have you been exposed to anyone with Covid-19?" I replied "HOW WOULD I KNOW UNLESS YOU TEST ME." They failed to ask me if I had any underlying health issues which might put me at risk. The lady I spoke with was very polite and very nice but the short answer was "our testing capability is so limited that we're only testing people who have been exposed and are at risk."

I'm back to work and fully functional but for all I know I'm one of those "mild" cases I've heard about and I've infected a bunch of folks. Who the fuQ knows and I'll probably never know because I can't get tested.

Now...just a few minutes ago...a co-worker told me that the NY State Governor was "shutting down NY State" starting Sunday; I guess that's what you gotta do when you can't test many people and you don't know how bad it is.

I have a good friend I spoke to today...he's rather isolated and he hadn't heard that the government was going to send everyone $1,200. His response: "Shit...doesn't $1,200.00 buy a shitload of test kits?"

See if they can prescribe clarithromyacin. Won't hurt, could help.

I've had a bout of sniffles for 3 weeks or so, went away sometime last week.... also during that time frame a slightly scratchy throat on some days and some headaches. No fever (although I did not check because I did not feel bad), no other issues. Like you, I am never sick and when I am, its a day or two at most. I have two other friends who have had the same for a few weeks, who are also never sick otherwise. I am 41, I think, and would consider myself fairly 'healthy' (no pre-existing issues), albeit a little overweight because I like to eat . We (wife and kids) have began social distancing starting last weekend. I like to call it "No one in, no one out" unless its for food shopping/takeout or delivery and then proper precautions are taken. We both are working from home. May be a little over-reaction, but it does not hurt a thing. I believe, in my opinion, once these tests become readily available, that there will be many more people with little to no symptoms that may test positive. That's why it's important for everyone, everywhere, to social distance. It's hopefully not going to kill us, but we can transmit it unknowingly to others who it may harm.

I believe, in my opinion, once these tests become readily available, that there will be many more people with little to no symptoms that may test positive. That's why it's important for everyone, everywhere, to social distance. It's hopefully not going to kill us, but we can transmit it unknowingly to others who it may harm.

It would be very telling if they could test for titers (antibodies) for COVID. I'm sure by now they must have isolated the IgG for COVID. Testing for this instead of (or in addition to) would reveal how many people have had the infection (presumably without knowing it). If it turns out that many/most have the titers, then it would go a long way in determining if/when herd immunity is obtained.

We had quarantine facilities stood up and ready, then unused for the most part. Even in March people were getting off infected ships and going their merry way with no screening or quarantine.

He also downplayed the crisis throughout January and February to an outrageous extent. His mismanagement of this crisis will be a historic lesson in how not to lead.

He is doing a great job. The animals in the MSM called him a xenophone. The results of the drug testing is VERY positive. Nothing wrong with giving people hope. I'm sure hillary clinton would have done a much better job and this virus would not have ever entered the country . Bunch of back seat drivers who are clueless. Dont forget. EVERY OTHER COUNTRY has the exact same problem - actually most far worse. They should have consulted with you.
