I want to order a couple of these but I am confused. On Alibaba order page I see "shipping method" and "trade terms"? I don't remember this on a previous Aliexpress order. Or would I be better off sending an email to Amanda?

Alibaba is predominantly a trade site - Aliexpress is a retail site. They are quite different in nature and purpose.

Attached latest firmware with Hikvision-like interface.

Steps performed: reset camera to default settings. Ran upgrade using IPCSearcher tool. Reloaded webpage, prompted to install updated plugin. Logged in to the camera web interface and reset it to default settings one more time.

Observations. The zoom in/out still lags behind when clicking buttons, it's nothing like Imporx/Huisun mini PTZ which is very responsive. Also, the Zoom In/Out is reversed initially I though something was broken with zoom control.

Perhaps you need to reset camera and or update your plugin? I see the new UI.

It looks like it's an incomplete update.
But it didn't complain, the 'software version' is different.
I'll do it again tomorrow.

when I was unbricking the cams before I noticed that Longse engineers used IPCSearcher tool to upgrade firmware, they did not use the web interface, so that might have something to do with it.

Well that's quite strange.
This is the same firmware that you posted here https://www.ipcamtalk.com/showthread.php/13108-Longse-factory-reset?p=118661&viewfull=1#post118661 which I applied to my motorised VF camera.
And the UI is still the classical style - check out the FW version here :

You need to update the HsWebPlugin.exe plugin.

1) Use IE11

2) Navigate to http://YourCameraIpAddress/install.html

3) Download the plugin to your local drive

4) Exit all instances of IE11

5) Right click HsWebPlugin.exe and execute "Run As Administrator"

6) Start up IE11 and browse to your camera at http://YourCameraIpAddress/index.htm and login

7) Feel the love

Did that - nothing changed.
Also did another update via the web GUI, again no change.
I need to find this IPCsearch tool and do the update that way.
I generally try to avoid loading up Win7 with odd software.

Soon, hopefully.

IPCsearch did the job.
But I was reducing my complement of Hikvision cameras, not increasing it.
I can't believe how close the web GUI look&feel is to Hikvision ...

I may not, but RoboCat does now.

I'm still tinkering with the 2 I just installed. I see reference to "ISO Mode". Is that something on the earlier firmware? I believe I have the latest firmware (S2L33M_IMX322_PTZ_W_6.1.30.3). Software version is 6.1.29.1, maybe not as new as @klasipca posted.

So the option "motorized varifocal" mean is inside the camera and you can do up to 4x within the software? to zoom in and out?

And can this be installed vertical wall? Also if good outside in the rain.

Thanks.

The latest firmware fixed the bug I reported above related to lens memory after reboot! ISO Mode switching still isn't fixed, but not a huge deal.
I'm overlooking this "ISO mode" if you are talking about the varifocal. I'm looking for ways to improve the clarity on mine and wondered if this would have any effect.

It was shipped with ISO+ enabled, disabling it seemed to negatively impact IQ

Thanks for your reply @klasipca, that's what I needed to know. I'm still curious though where this "ISO mode" is in the settings unless it isn't on my firmware version.
