ANNKE I61DR 2MP (Hikvision Cube Clone)

No, Hikvision is the correct banner. Mine was still showing Annke as I had neglected to clear my cache.
Cool. Only thing weird so far on both of my cameras is that nothing gets logged in the event logs even though I successfully get email notifications for IVS/MD...

No, I haven't considered inserting an SD card into the cameras. Figured they'd work like the 5231-ZE I just received where at least some entries showed up in the logs.

Bummer. I didn't plan on installing SD Cards in them so won't be able to check timeline if cameras reboot, etc. May have to reuse SD from my phones when we upgrade them in the future.

micro sd cards are cheap..5-10 bux...always good to have additional backup recordings..

Anyone have any suggestions for something similiar to this that is outdoor ready? Not interested in any turrets. Or waterproofing these?

I am using this weatherproof enclosure around a pond/waterfall in my outer yard as a wireless creature cam and daylight serenity view:

I found when placing this camera (I used the Hikvision brand) flush against a window pane, the IR will reflect, due to the double insulating pane design. It does not, however, reflect with a single pane. The night view is not the best but if a creature comes by close, it works.

If you decide to try it, I recommend using cable ties instead of the supplied plastic cover screws. These screws cracked with me and allowed moisture to creep in.

My setup has been in place over 6 months with no problems.

Has anyone tried swapping in a 2.8mm lens on these? Curious if that's possible and if so how well that works.

Any idea what the minimum size is just to get the logs? I have an extra 4 Gb card. There is nothing in the provided Quick Start Guide.

Thanks for any information.

@alastairstevenson have a look on his post the lens stuck out a little bit

I'm not finding the post you're referencing. Is there an easy way to determine which of the lenses on that Treeye store I would need for these Annke cameras? (Sorry, new to this and not sure which specifications determine which lenses can be used as replacements.) Is lens replacement on this camera something that should be fairly straightforward?

And wow it was sticking out like a darleks eye when I open up the big picture
It sure was!
But, just to be clear, that was an experiment in trying out an f1.2 lens to see how much of an improvement to low-light performance the wider aperture gave.
The cube camera doesn't have the constraint of a window in front of the lens as the other cameras do.
For fun - here is the link to the post : Quality of after-market M12 lenses? Swapping focal lengths...

But the normal f2.0 M12 lenses I've bought from the Treeye store have fitted OK on several DS-2CD2332 cameras I changed from 6mm to 4mm.

Does anyone know if the LaView LV-PC902F2-W Panda cam can also be upgraded using the firmware steps outlined by @VorlonFrog? My understanding is it's also a similar Hikvision cube clone. I have a couple I would like to update but don't want to brick them if LaView has specific firmware. Appreciate any advice.

Just recvd this cam....I can't seem to determine the default IP, username and password. Doesn't appear to be the same as the Hik cubes. Any help? Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind, got it connected.
