That is strange. I can see it not working in BI. The Foscam stuff is the default for BI when it can't find anything.
But the camera GUI like you show above should work.
The only thing I can think of is maybe this camera is even more sensitive to browsers than Dahua LOL - try Internet...
Be aware that Foscam's tech support absurdly will not provide any information about undocumented CGI commands unless you fill out a SDK application and a non-disclosure agreement. They flatly refused to answer even the most basic of questions regarding activating camera lights via HTTP command...
...Enable = 1 is enable and enable = 0 is disable
These commands are not included in any publicly available Foscam docmentation. Foscam is actually requiring a developer SDK application and non-disclosure agreement be filled out before providing them.
...by not providing a web interface. The cameras does support the CGI commands but the documented commands are actually somewhat limited. Foscam leaves a lot out.
Instead of just responding to a request for information regarding a couple of commands that are missing, Foscam wants an SDK...

I have a friend that falls under this "I just want to plug it in and scan a code and it works" mindset. Many years ago she bought a Foscam wifi camera to monitor her front door. She plugged it in and pointed it out a 2nd story window and downloaded the Foscam app and scanned the QR...
I saw that someone posted on another forum (Home Assistant) that in the newest models of Foscam cameras (specifically the SD4) the Web settings interface has been replaced by Foscam VMS. Not a real big deal since the old web interface was pretty problematic for the older models.
But it's...
You might give OWLR a try, I've heard some good things.
Too bad that BabyMonitor with PTZ for iOS by the creator of Tiny Cam disappeared from the Apple Store; lots of disappointed folks. But even Tiny Cam for Android doesn't seem to be supported any more either. It's creator @alexvas hasn't...
We can assure you that leaving the cameras on default does not get the best performance from them, especially at night.
Do not be be fooled with a static image. It is getting clean captures of objects in motion that we are after.
And that is the mistake most make is being impressed with the...
I've just started migrating from Foscam cameras to EmpireTech cameras. It took me a bit to do the first cam but I've got two up and running now on a test bench. Once winter's done I'll be mounting them outside and connecting them to BlueIris. I've read the cliff notes but there's a lot of...
...PC app or thru Blue Iris, sound resumes. Then eventually I lose sound again.
All my other cameras are Dahua, Amcrest and still have a couple Foscam. None of them have this issue.
Im not using an SD card in either Reolink doorbell or PTZ camera.
Im on BI 5 v.5.8.7.11 x64 (3/2/24). I just...
...cat monitoring use case they work well as-is OOTB w a micro SD card & the free but limited cloud service for motion alert capture.
I had a Foscam, (now Amcrest), which worked great for years using Ethernet or Wifi...even after being dropped over a balcony into the basement twice! (The 2nd...
...cameras in various locations of the house to keep an eye on the place and have eyes in case of a problem.
To do this, I have used a few older Foscam Wifi cameras but some are not working well anymore.
I am looking for a recommendation for Wifi, non mountable (left on a counter or table)...
...has cameras that are 4MP on the 1/1.8" sensor, but most prefer the 5442 performance along with the GUI. I have both and prefer the 5442.
Foscam...forget about it LOL.
You could try Axis, but be prepared to open up your wallet.
Most find the 5442 to be the overall best camera in terms of...
So everyone is mentioning Dehua, especially the 5442. Are there any others from Hikvision, Amcrest, Foscam, etc. that perform similarly, so probably have a big sensor, some decent chip and firmware, IR light, etc?
So from what I understand, the only way is to use VMS, foscam's windows app to change the advanced settings. VMS is ancient and clunky.
I have 2 R2's left that I remember changing through the browser back in the day, but my newer R5's (7 of them) show a message saying only the android or...
I have several R2's and R5's. I'm trying to reduce the resolution so there will be less traffic on my Wi-Fi. Whatever I do, when I change the settings in VMS and hit apply, it says success. When I open the settings again, they are back to what they were originally. I'm at a loss.

Hello,
I have an existing installation with an nvr + 4 ip cams, the brand is novodio with seems to be a rebrand of foscam for the French market for some reason.
I couldn't find much documentation or even thread of people talking about those ip cam.
My wish is to move away from the nvr...
I keep buying Foscams. I don't know why. I'm also a BI user.
So badly hooked on the Blue Iris that I now pay yearly.
It's the best!
Foscam?
I don't know why.
I've dabbled with BI while keeping the Router webpage open on the side at the same time.
(Probably seen things I shouldn't have seen)...
...before and no idea what I am doing or the implications on remote access with BI
2) 14 Cameras are mostly Amcrest. I have phased out all the Foscam except 3. I also have 2 of the $500 Dahua PTZs. The BI5 server is an using an internal SSD and external 2 Terabyte WD drive. Using ASIX USB to...

I have two Foscam FI990P V7 cameras that I managed to screw up by loading firmware for version 1 of this camera. Neither one would boot after the upgrade (don't even ask why I tried the second camera after bricking the first one). I received the recovery image from Foscam and attempted to...
I have a model G2 that has some issues. I got it used, and it would not come up. I requested and received the recovery image from Foscam and tried to recover from it. It did not seem to work, so I hooked up to the serial port to see what was happening. It does try to boot but runs into issues...
I'm going to get the foscam one and try it out. I appreciate all the help. I do have home assistance so I'll try to get it linked to that also. I haven't setup blue iris through homeassist yet.
I have 4 of them. They work. Anything specific you want to know?
Some generic notes:
They are onvif compliant but don't expose all the capabilities. I think just the stream but not the sensor.
Has an open api, can be integrated with things like Home Assistant for light control.
Their app...
Several amazon reviews state that the Foscam is ONVIF compliant and provides RTSP, one reviewer states they use it with Blue Iris. I have no opinion one way or the other but I'd buy it from a place like amazon with free return if you don't like it or it doesn't work out.
