If its a Chinese 2032F you are planning to use SD cards in just be aware there seems to be reports of issues with SD card recording.

Did you check the internal power connector from the PSU? Sometimes they're not fully seated. If you have a multimeter or test light you coudl check to see if powers actually coming out of the PSU on the yellow and black wires.

If you can I woulf also try viewing the stream on something like VLC. For my case VLC gives me the best playback so I can tell if its the network or my aging hardware.

Does the NVR beep like crazy? Do you have HDD Overwrite enabled? Is there an error message on the actual NVRs interface?

If you search around here someone found a small ebay special 4 channel (I believe) NVR, it was about $50 and pretty small. Has VGA and HDMI output and they only wanted it to stream over a HDMI output. I don't recall which thread exactly but hopefully your searches are more effective.
