You mean the best resolution of the video stream is currently at 720P and not full HD?
You think is a limitation of the firmware only!?
How likely that this will be added?

BTW does Dahua maintain the firmware of their products or do they rather shell out one or two versions and then let it sit collecting dust?

Thanks for your insights!

No dahua upgrade few times a year
With the return of dahua agent

For exemple vto2000a had 5 upgrades in 2 years to fixe bug or add function.

Its Best brand i Know for that. Its very serious.

But i recommand always to choose à dahua agent for buy dahua product bécause dahua sell only to professionnal and support only professional.

As a final customer dahua dont support you if You buy directly.

That's really good to know!
Does the same also apply to the VTH screens?

I see as the consumer - there is no direct support by Dahua. So I have to trust the reseller to be able to support it.

Thanks!

oh..Thanks for checking!

It could not be an issue of the browser!?
I mean that maybe the browser could not play the file?

i check by doubt but i confirm its only 720P you can see here

Yes you are absolutely rightjemesecurise, thanks for your info!
Via web interface I can also only set these resolutions:

Even though I was able to set the resolution on my NVR to 1080P. This then must be without effect.
I was also wondering why the resolution keeps changing back after a little while to lower counts.

Thanks for double checking. Odd that 1080p is currently not supported despite the 2 MP camera . Hopefully one of the next firmwares will fix this (although I do not think it is essential) as well the 'auto' adjustment 'feature'...

to be honnest, 1.3MP 720P is largest OK, in fact when someone ring is about 50cm - 1m , so you have an impressive quality, by the way the VTH1550 is 800X600 so not need more :winktongue:

Well, yes indeed but maybe someone uses as a normal IP surveillance camera... To cover bits of the front yard.
Doesn't have the VTH1550's screen an even smaller resolution!?

But since the hardware seems to be there why not make full use of it!?
