My VTO3211 still has firmware version 1.200.0000.0. release 2017-06-30. Language is only English. I didn't find something newer.
For the VTO2000A I found an international firmware at Goliath (v 3.1, R 2017-04-02), there is also a SIP firmware available.

So the current firmware is one year old in a few months. Is that the only version out there (international version)?
Do you guys think that a SIP firmware might be possible for the VTO3211D-P2 eventually !?

1.3 MP camera and not 2MP after all?

At least according to this German data sheet...
Mhmhmhm...

..the funny bit is that the DACH site of Dahua does not list the item at all... at least the search does not bring it up.
Mhmhm ... may just an error in the translation..

hi im new with this systems and i need some tecnical help, i have one VTO3211D-P2 and one VTNS1060A and one VTH5221DW-CW

1.- the VTNS1060A Poe funtion only works with the monitor VTH5221DW-CW and this VTH5221DW-CW only can be use in Poe with this dahua switch no other, why is this?

2.- i have to buy a extra poe switch JetNet 3705-24V to feed this VTO3211D-P2 and a extra dahua camera and is working fine but two switch use to much space

3.- how the access card work, i buy

NSEE RFID 13.56MHz KeyFob Tag Proximity Card Reader IC Mifare TK/EM4305 Writable

and the VTO dont recognize, this are the wrong card some one know which ones i need? thanks

IIRC, most of the VTO and VTH units use a special 24V PoE. A couple support 802.3af (i think the VTO3211D-P2).

Vto3211d-p2 and VTNS1060A are no match as far as I understand. But could not a passive POE injector do the trick!? Using such splitter cables a supply of 12V could be what's needed!?

not passive POE dosent work you need a real switch POE like this one Mini Switch POE 4 ports or other brand

Hi there,

I wonder - why couldn't you use the DC 12V to supply power to the VTH3211P-D2?
Would it be possible to use things like this -
UTB8PCE6b_zIXKJkSafVq6yWgXXaM.jpg_50x50.jpg
for one to inject power (here 12V) into the CAT cable and at the VTH3211P-D2 to extract the power as well
as to supply it to the VTH3211P-D2's DC12V?

Thanks,

Hi all,

no opinion on the setup I treid to describe above?

Following this set up I hope to avoid real POE switch just to supply the VTH3211P-D2 (for now).
I am asking b/c as of now I have to do that way... at least that's my current plan.
It's a kind of work around.

I believe the black and red cable are the optional DC12V supply.

506605_120123143523_POE_Splitter.JPG

One of these does inject the power (12V in this case form a regular 12V power supply) and at the other end - where the VTH3211P-D2 is - the second one does extract the power.
Doing so - the VTH3211P-D2 will see the expected 100Mbit LAN.

With these plugs - you can - if the space permits - make it a bit more cleaner other than to do the soldering the cables (at least that's my plan until I put in a true POE switch).

Thanks,

Hi @javierc,

quite a set up you got there. How to you power it all? I see several power supplies (please correct me, if I am wrong).
Is that set up for two intercoms!? What kind are the panels?

Thanks,
INT

Un resume is one 24vdc 5A power supply with a backup battery feed two switch one dahua and the other is a industrial Poe switch, the dahua feed 3 vth5221dw and the other feed a camera, vto3211 and vto2111

Bad luck the vto3211 only have two buttons, now in 3 floor house, the two first floors will have to Share one bottom, and the 3 floor have two Intercoms the first one downstairs (vto3211) in the main entry and the second one upstairs (vto2111)

Now my problem are the rfid cards no one work I don’t know why!!!!!

Hi @javierc,

so you of both intercoms (vto3211 and vto2111) working in one setup!?
For the IC chips - do you have Mifare cards or buttons!?

Thanks,

Ok. Mhmhmh... has someone else experienced such problems!?
What firmware are you running, @javierc ?

I do have some chips here (just got them) but no VTO3211.. ;-(
Since you do have it - did you notice a SD slot at the VTO3211?
